Alicia, let’s start with multilingualism. For those who might not know, what is it? Multilingualism refers to the ability to communicate in more than one language fluently. There are many ways to become multilingual. I emigrated to the United States from Mexico so I became multilingual when I added English to my language toolbox. Many learn languages like me, by moving from one place to another, others through schooling such as taking Italian in university.
